“ We randomly came across Paulette’s on Google maps whilst walking down Regents Canal. The reviews were great and it did not disappoint. Staff were fabulous, LOVED the decor, food was delicious & plenty to choose from on the drinks front. I had the trout & summer vegetables and my husband had the onglet. Added in ratatouille as a side for both - perfect addition. 10/10 on all counts. Delroy wasn’t the owner but he should have been, the way he looks after that place is . Thank you for a beautiful lunch. Highly recommend to everyone and look forward to revisiting. ”

“ My husband and I had dinner at Paulette for our wedding anniversary. It was the first time we ate there, but certainly won't be the last! Everything, from the cosy atmosphere, to the attentive staff and the absolutely delicious food - made for a wonderful night. Our waiter Marcus was brilliant and accommodating as well. 10/10! ”

“ A lovely little restaurant! We came for lunch on a Saturday (no booking) and had the sirloin on the bone to share between 2 (a special that day). It cost £70 and came with chips and salad to share which was the perfect size for lunch, and a very good deal. The steak was cooked to perfection! The service was absolutely amazing, you can tell the waiters really care about the food they are serving and were perfectly attentive. We were served by Marcus - he was very knowledgeable about the menu and made us feel really welcomed. Overall great experience would come again! ”

“ Had dinner with friends at Paulette. Absolutely delicious food. The decor reminded me of my grandma's ( also named Paulette) home. Best snails have ever had , and the beef onglet was so tender. My friends had the tarte tatin and the camenbert and loved it too. The only suggestion would be a wider dessert menu ”

“ Exquisite food! The decor is beautiful providing traditional, cosy/intimate vibes. If you are looking for authentic French cuisine this is the place to visit. 10/10 I will be definitely back again. The French onion soup is a must it was piping hot and had the perfect sweetness and depth of flavour from the Roscoff onions. This hands down is better than the one I had in Paris. The Onglet was so succulent and the sauce was bold and had plenty of flavour. The Crème brûlée not overly rich yet it was super silky and smooth. An absolute delight from start to finish. “ I heard about this place a long time ago, and always wanted to visit as I love French cuisine. I was right, as this is really a special place, the kind of restaurant that, if I was a resident in the area, I would go to se real times a week. The space is cosy, cute, full of atmosphere, it feels like you are at the lovely home of your grandmother, with little details that are and feel authentic but not old fashioned, or dated. The service is incredible, warm, friendly, with each member of staff being efficient, polite, smiling, and very attentive. The food is the perfect homemade cuisine that is simple yet sophisticated in the careful choices of the chef ingredients used to prepare the delicious food we had. I had the tarte tatin with roscoff onions, blue cheese and mascarpone, followed by the onglet de boeuf with green peppercorn sauce and frites, and my friend had the soup plus the fries. I also ordered 2 glasses of white wine, a Chablis to go with the starter, and a Viognier to go with the onglet aux poivre. The dessert of the day was fresh strawberries with chantilly cream, a meringue crumble and a basil infusion. All of it was delicious. We all loved it ! I live far away, in south London, but this is definitely worth the journey ! We will definitely be back! Thank you guys you are exceptional! ”
